Dr. Santoro (Ernie) is the owner of Revive. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in New York in 2010 after having graduated Magna Cum Laude with his B.S. in Health and Science Studies with minors in English and Biology from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT in 2007.
During the course of his career, Dr. Santoro quickly rose from a staff level Physical Therapist to Director of Operations for Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He has rehabilitated patients in a variety of healthcare settings with a wide range of post-operative, orthopedic, neurological and cardiovascular conditions.
Dr. Santoro completed his Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, earning the credential of FAAOMPT (Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists) in 2024. Fellowship training involves a rigorous 2.5 year post-doctoral didactic curriculum through the Manual Therapy Institute (MTI), followed by 450 hours of direct one-on-one mentorship under MTI fellows. It is of the most rigorous, expansive, and comprehensive Fellowship programs in the world. This accomplishment is reached by less than 5% of Physical Therapists in the United States.
Ernie was recently accepted as a Mentoring Faculty member for the Manual Therapy Institute, and is excited to not only teach and mentor future fellows, but also to learn from and collaborate with them as well!
